Problem :

I am new to Servlet programing, while running my Servlet code i am getting bellow error 
error 500 javax servlet servletexception java lang illegalstateexception

Solution :

It seems that your Servlets were precompiled for Tomcat,  you will have to clean the project then try to run it again, this should be easy fix for your problem.
