Problem :

I am getting below error while running my Jersey API in Tomcat 8.5.11
java.lang.illegalstateexception: injectionmanagerfactory not found.

Solution :

I had faced this issue before and i followed bellow approch to fix it

Please use the bellow dependencies:

1. Maven

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.core</groupId>
    <artifactId>jersey-common</artifactId>
    <version>2.26</version>
</dependency>

<dependency>
  <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.inject</groupId>
    <artifactId>jersey-hk2</artifactId>
    <version>2.26</version>
</dependency>

2. Gradle

compile 'org.glassfish.jersey.core:jersey-common:2.26'
compile 'org.glassfish.jersey.inject:jersey-hk2:2.26'
