Solution :

One can use the browser extension to remove X-Content-Type-Options response header for raw.githubusercontent.com files. I found couple of browser extensions those can modify response headers.

  1. Requestly: Chrome + Firefox
  2. Modify Headers: Firefox

1: Use of Modify Headers Rule and removal of the response header

Steps

  1. Download and Install Requestly from http://www.requestly.in
  2. Please go to Rules Page
  3. Please click on Add Icon to create a desired rule
  4. Select Modify Headers
  5. Give a desired Name and suitable Descripton
  6. Select Remove -> Response -> X-Content-Type-Options
  7. In your Source field please enter Url -> Contains -> raw.githubusercontent.com

2: Use of Replace host Rule

  1. Download and Install Requestly from http://www.requestly.in
  2. Please go to Rules Page
  3. Please click on Add Icon to create a rule
  4. Please replace raw.githubusercontent.com with rawgit.com

Am I doing anything wrong here, or is this the bug with Chrome?
