How to reset auto increment value in mysql

If you  are these  applications for your  database management for example  MYSQL Query Browser , or MysqlWorkBench then you may follow the steps given here for the auto Increment  

 

    Right click on Table then choose Alter Table

    Click on the options tab

    You will see the Auto Increment label

From there , you may reset it.

 

 

You may choose to use the SQL query approach by using the ALTER TABLE statement. Use this syntax:

ALTER TABLE tblTable  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

ALTER TABLE tblTable2  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

ALTER TABLE tblTable3  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

 

ALTER TABLE tblTabl4e  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

 

ALTER TABLE tblTable5  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

 

ALTER TABLE tblTable6  AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;

 

ALTER TABLE tblTable 7 AUTO_INCREMENT = VALUE;
