Windows media player error

The reasons might be that you probably do not have a sound device installed on your computer, another program on your laptop might be using it in the moment, or your installed sound device is not functioning properly and it need to be fixed.

1. There might be another program on your laptop that is using the sound device so in order for you to use it with your other file, you will have to close that program and try again.
2. Your current sound device driver might be outdated and will need to be updated and here is how to do it:
- You will have to go on the search tool on the taskbar and search for control panel. After the control panel is open, Click on Hardware and Sound and it will show you multiple options. On the first one under Devices and Printers, click on Device Manager and it will open the device manager of the laptop. In the device manager, search for “sound, video, and game controllers” then press on its dropdown button. There, you will see the sound card or sound cards if you have multiple ones, then right click on the one you are using then press on update driver option it will open a form where you will have to choose either “search automatically for drivers” or “Browse my computer for drivers”.
3. You might just have multiple sound devices installed on your laptop and all you will have to do is try to use a different one.
