Is not recognized? How do you check JDK is installed or not in Windows 10?

How to resolve error: "javac is not recognized as an internal or external command":

open a Windows search box, types environment
go to Advanced tab -> Environment Variables
add a new JDK_folder\bin into the system properties PATH

Javac is not recognized as an internal or external command” occurs when trying to compile Java programs on microsoft windows operating sytem using Cmd Prompt. It’s might also be encountered when users try to check the current version of the primary Java compiler.

Another reason for it to occur is when trying to see current version of primary Java Compiler.
