Is there a way to run Python on Android?
Problem: I like the android platform. In fact, with some friends, they even participate in the ADC with the Spoxt project. But Java is not my favorite language. We are working on an S60 version and this platform has a nice Python API. Of course there is nothing official about Python on Android, but since Jython exists, does anyone know a way to allow the snake and the robot to work together?

"R cannot be resolved to a variable"?
Problem: In eclipse, I created a project from a source and now it is noticing errors - "R cannot be resolved from a variable". From what I found here, I had cleaned up and rebuilt the project, but still the R file doesn't show up in the / gen folder. Any ideas?

How to pause / sleep thread or process on Android?
Problem: I want to pause between the two lines of code, let me explain a bit: -> the user clicks a button (a card, in fact) and shows me by changing the background of this button: thisbutton.setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.icon); -> after say 1 second, I have to go ... does not work. Maybe it is the process and not in the Thread that I need to pause ?? What is the best solution to implement this?

How to close the Android application?
Problem: I want to close my request so that it no longer runs in the background. How to do it? It is this good practice on the android platform. If I have the "back" button, the application closes, but remains in the background. There is even application called "TaskKiller" to kill background applications.

How to add an input language for Android?
Problem: Is it possible to add more languages for android? My current Android phone only supports English and Chinese the input language. I would like to have Dutch too, as I am going to use it for word completion. The question is, how to easily switch between these languages in the input text (keyboard) GUI? Hope someone could help me.

What is the best IDE to develop Android applications?
Problem: I am about to start developing an android application and need to get an IDE. eclipse and the android eclipse plugin seems like the natural choice. However, I am familiar with intelliJ and re-sharper so I prefer to use intelliJ. Has anyone used http://code.google.com/p/idea-android? Is this good? Should I just bite the bullet and learn from Eclipse?

Activity will restart on Android rotation
Problem: In my android application, when I turn the device (slide the keyboard) and then my activity restarts (onCreate is called). Now this is probably the way it's supposed to be, but I have a lot of initial setting in the onCreate method, so I need to: 1 ... do so onCreate is not called again, and the layout is adjusted or 3. Limit the application only portrait so that onCreate is not called.

Double chain conversion

Override the back button to act as a home button
Problem: When hitting the back button, I would like my request to go to the stop state, instead of the destroy state. In the android docs it says: ... not all activities have the behavior that is destroyed when BACK is pressed. When the user starts ... then initiating an activity from the home screen, effectively putting my app's activity in the stop state. Thanks in advance for any advice.

How do I stream data between activities on Android?
Problem: I have a scenario where after login via login page, there will be session button on each activity. Clicking on signout will pass the session id of the logged in user to signout.
